Stewart Brennan “Time Keeps Running Away” by Logan Anderson captures the fountain of youth within us all. The rhythm and beat lifts the spirit right from the start to infuse life’s positive energy, so much so, you’ll keep coming back for more. This song is in my top 10 for 2014. ~ Stewart Brennan, World United Music

lyrics

I feel the time as it passes over my head. I see it flow with the wind, then it blows away. I feel the chill of the cold as I breathe in. I feel the heat of the sun, then it fades away. I write a song when I start to feel lonely; I yell it out to the sky, then it blows away. I try to eat when I start to feel hungry, but as I watch the sun fall I just want to play. Time just runs away. I'm 25, but I feel like I'm 20. As I watch the sun fall I'm sad to say my time keeps runnin' away. I need to cry just to drag it out. I want to make myself feel it. I dread the time when it comes around. I want to, I want to make it go away. I had a dream that my time had a meaning, that all the colors of my life could make a rainbow, and all the trees above would stare with their envy, then reach down with their branches and try to take it all away.

My favorite part of making music is physically playing and experimenting with different instruments and sounds. I think this aspect helps take my songs in great and unexpected directions. ... more
