This was inspired by a time in my life when I was crushed from an old relationship but finding joy and freshness in a new one. This song reminds me of not really having a care in the world and just letting things happen - letting happiness make its way back into one's life and forgetting past hardships in the process.

The ambient "hum" in this song (not what you hear at the very beginning) was created by plucking a string on a guitar banjo and getting a high pitched overtone, then smoothing it out with some processing. I built the entire song around the feeling of just that single tone.
