Angel 04:38
I hear an angel singing a whisper in the open air Takes me to my favorite place, the meadow near the hilltop I want to know the feeling of floating through a misty cloud 'Cause I hear an angel singing Only she knows where I'm headed Do you feel alive? Do you feel alive? 'Cause I know I do

I was always the angry me Looking for a chance to be Another reason to make you not believe You are worth more than you think To the people you cannot see I wrote down that I owed you an apology I was only thirteen When I had to stop this misery Can't stop, brother Looking for what you need One song might ease you in We fight, brother Thinking we understand What the future has in store Do we take the shortest road? Ditch hope to pass it on? Do we cling to what makes us not believe? I found love, a simple calm When I ran into the night Without a plan or a care or a hope in sight

Break Break Break some traditions So here we are in a melting pot We got a long way to go before we can't stop It's backwards we know Do you live around here? Did you come too far? Do you want to sing with us, And break some traditions? Break some traditions We hate being alone We hate being alone We hate being alone We hate being alone Let's break some traditions Break some The day's moving too fast, we don't play don't sing, it never lasts Who's next in the ages to come? We don't have a clue, but we still want 'em Life's one big video game, keeping the score, who's name's at the top of the list Can't relate face to face, bring out the name book, talk with your headphones on So here we are in a melting pot, got a ways to go before we can't stop Unsettled minds gotta dress up, you want blue or green? Just take it off You want anger, sunburn red, get the attention, rumors to mention You're in a scene of pride, like anybody cared about the fame of your time Break Break Break some traditions Break some traditions Break some I hate being alone, I hate the no-shows, are you ever coming back? Sit back and relax, not a worry 'bout the promise you made, this time you're a little late Forget about the follow through, that's it, I'm done being the broken dude Say hello to a world of fake, a big shame grown to an idle state We forgot how to sing when the camera's turned off, how to smile without the spotlight on, how to use our voice without our fingertips, We gotta break out, but we're breaking down the sound of bliss (can you listen to this?), where interaction is real Spontaneity's gone, come on, let's break it all down I miss leavin it up to guessing, not knowing, but committed to everything No chance to avoid the task now, others are waiting, the time is pressing I feel sorry for the natural minds, holding us up between a tree and a grapevine Your permanence isn't so permanent, you came too far, and now you're all ours Welcome to the melting pot, the master plan, do you think that you can understand? Life's one big video game, we're all the same impassable membranes Easy to please is all we need, if the need is any, we never mind a freebee Lose the natural, the interactual, the real, the factual

Reaching 05:25
I want again to see you, amor I want again to see you, amor Like a broken flower in a barren field As it fights the wind that brought the snow The weeping voice, the dagger tone From whence nostalgic whispers blow Like a panting melody through the sky Spread thin among the breeze it rides The nylon sings, the fingers cry The nylon sings, the fingers cry I want again to see you, amor I want again to see you, amor I want again to see you, amor I want again to see you, amor

In A Dream 03:42
I didn't know that I was asleep When the people came knocking to see what I'd done When I woke up, all I saw was you When I laid awake with those songs in my head They sang me to sleep, they sang to me quietly They alone could put me into a dream I want to see you again I want to see you again I want to see you again I want to see you again In a dream I wonder where you are Why you're gone, and how so far I wonder if you walked into a dream 'Cause so alone it seems In a dream I wanted something that I didn't have I tried too hard and got lost on the way I can't recall what it feels like to love what I do Sometimes in life you build a hope It burns up inside you and leaves a big hole When I woke up, no one cared but you I want to see you again I want to see you again I want to see you again I want to see you again In a dream

I ran loose with a happy heart I ran loose with a happy heart To the other side where the grass was green I ran loose with a broken heart I ran loose with a broken heart Then I crossed the fence where the grass was green Stolen your love Sick of your selfless dependence Taken for granted again We're coming down hard this time I don't always need what I think I do We're coming down hard this time And I better stop soon I broke out with a stolen heart I broke out with a stolen heart To the other side where the grass was green Quick is a lust for something too easy to have I broke down with a broken heart I broke down with a broken heart Then I crossed the fence where the grass was green I can't commit to a fate that tells me I'm not independent That instinct is weaker than love We're coming down hard this time I don't always need what I think I do We're coming down hard this time And I better stop soon When you're love turns to lust on the run You better be strong

Drive 04:38
I will not take your weight to carry I want so much more Suck it up and take control I want to feel that you are mine Here we sit just wasting time Tell me that you need to cry Let it out, 'cause I don't mind Tell me that you need a break I'll take you out, and we'll just go... Drive You are mine Drive You are mine As long as you wait I'll keep wearing these worn out shoes (come on now, your suffering tastes so smooth) I'm a stubborn hippie Stuck in the coldest side of me (little boy, forgotten how to mend his blues) Whenever you hold me (come on now, your suffering feels so smooth) I think of the vow I made to you (this time, this time you took me too far down) I will put you before me (little boy, forcing you to make you choose) Oh how I wish I'd told the truth (little liar boy woke up this time) Let's just drive You are mine

Kyra 04:21
Up the trail again to find my light Rose the morning sun, the shadow of my lifeline You found me near the top, comatose You know I'll try again, I know I'm getting so close Left you on your own for a twilight ride Left you waiting for a shadow in a black night I was on my way to a dreamer's fall I was on my way to find a man I never knew Mercy take me in, I thought I had it this time Mercy take me in, tell me that I got it right Move on, move on, move on I don't need you this time Move on, move on, move on I don't need you one more night Caught you on your way to find your light Thought you'd want to stay, or doesn't it feel right? Kill your mourning love, and love you will I left you on your own, and that just kills me so

Nomads 04:43
I can run the length of shadows On the road and in the sky I am powered by discretion Always moving always free Come with me, we'll flee the city Plant our hearts in earth unknown Feed our souls with rich ambition Always growing, always free I don't need a place in a big life game I turn myself away I take my feet to a far away place I run to I can find love in an empty field Where life awaits the sun Where I can be the hands that choose to make that life grow I can hear my lover singing Music of my eager mind Lovers thrive and lovers wander Seek to thrill and live to find

Falling Down 03:37
Goodbye winter, now it's springtime I've been thinking of the day when you took me for a ride Drove to the country, looked for a steep road Sometimes we couldn't stop quite fast enough I really miss falling down I really miss the bruises I really miss falling down I really miss my friends It's the time of year when adventures begin I've been thinking of the day that we fell straight through the sky Screams washed out as we left the airplane Then we plummeted towards the ground at holy crap speed I really miss falling down I really miss the view I really miss falling down I really miss my friends The leaves grown out and the fruits are forming I've been thinking of the day that we made juice from the vine We didn't know what we were doing But a juice so good and the mess cleaned up just fine I really miss hanging out I really miss hanging out I really miss falling down I really miss my friends

We aint got no sorrows we can't overrun We'll start a war, we'll pick a fight, beat ourselves to the ground We'll kiss the day, we'll make a joke, tell the villain he lost again Our own minds take control, they're what hold us back anymore

about

Produced by Logan Anderson
Mastered by Adam Gonsalves

All sounds, instruments, and vocals are live performances. I create synth sounds out of piano and guitars, many percussion sounds out of random household objects, and the rest out of real instruments. No keyboards, samples, virtual instruments, or drum machines were used at all. I love playing and banging on things, and being able to feel and hear live sounds. This is what helps me write new and better ideas. For me, experimenting is the key to writing songs that I'm happy with.

about

Logan Anderson Colorado Springs, Colorado

I've enjoyed making music since I was 13 years old. It wasn't until late 2013 that I decided to be a bit more persistent, so I released my first album, "Nomad". My favorite part of making music is physically playing and experimenting with different instruments and sounds. I think this aspect helps take my songs in great and unexpected directions. ... more
